    Hello list,

Can anyone identify this foliage plant? It has not flowered for years. One of our friend's bird got sick after eating the leaves. This picture is from Pakistan, so most likely it is a tropical plant. This plant looks very similar to Cestrum diurnum or a member of the Solanaceae family to me but I could not find any images similar to this plant from google images for Cestrum or Solanum species.

    Thanks,

    Farooq

I got some more information about the plant in question; the leaves have a pungent odour (if crushed). And this quality reminds me of Clerodendron inermis. The image from the following nursery has very similar leaf form to the plant in question:

But is it Clerodendron inermis at all because the rest of google images do not match with Clerdodendron inermis very well.

    Thanks,
