    Hi guys,

    This plant is growing in a pot in my boyfriend's family's backyard. It was given to his mother as a cutting, so we have no clues as to its identity.

    We live in Southern California.

    It's a vine plant; it has no flowers or fruits so far.

    Does anyone know what it might be?

    Thank you!

    Might be Echinocystis lobata.

    It looks like Ipomoea batatas to me - sweet potato vine.

    Ah, thank you guys so much! I think it is sweet potato - it looks like a good match and that would make sense if it is.

    Here's to hoping it blooms someday - the flowers look like they'll be lovely!

    Thanks again! :}
