My boyfriend has recently been taking clippings off of plants for future use around his new home. On vacation in Tampa, FL we came across a plant on his sisters screened-in back porch. It was a beautifully large bush-like plant with an almost aloe-texture to the leaves. After taking a small clipping, he has planted it in a small pot and used root hormone to keep it properous. So far, so good, however he is unsure of the amount to water it or the amount of direct sunlight it requires. Here are a couple of pictures- any insight would be fantastic!
Looks like Crassula ovata. Common name jade plant. See... http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Crassula_ovata_+_Florero.jpg
