Identification: Identification help please?

    Hello, I was directed here from another forum in the hopes that someone can id this little beauty that was in my flower bed the other day.

    It didn't last more than a few hours before it was mush.

    Definitely a species of Coprinus...Possibly Coprinus lagopus or something closely related.
