Can anyone identify this plant please?

The photograph was taken at the Jug Bay Nature area , Prince George's County, Maryland in October of 2007. I found it in a rough planter outside the reproduction of a typical early Maryland settler's dwelling. The image is a low res .jpg.

    Thank you.

    Celosia spicata 'Plumosa', perhaps?

I love it! The leaves seem narrow for a celosia, though.

    Daniel,
Thank you so much. I've been stumped for months. I found seeds at a New Zealand company.
