I live in central Virginia. The first one i've been growing for over a year. It survived last winter and shot up real tall this year. At one point it was sprouting small white (?) flowers on the top but they didn't make it in the heat. My cat also loves to eat it, which is why last year it never got tall enough to ID. The second one is odd because I planted a couple Lily of the Valley bulbs in there this spring and I still haven't seen those, just these guys. They sprouted about a month or so ago and I have no idea what they are. Both of these could be well nurtured weeds, I was just wondering if anyone had any insight.
