I am trying to figure out what this plant is. I was told it is Joseph's Coat (Amaranthus) but it isn't looking like it. The leaves are smaller and smoother and not lanceolate. I hope the pictures are enough to identify. They just began producing flowers. One of the pictures I attached you can see the small white flower. I took some cuttings and they have grown vigorously but since it's not Joseph's Coat I'm not sure if I want to keep it.
Here is a picture of more mature plants. These were grown from cuttings off the same mother plant as the ones in the above post.
Re: Is this Iresine? If so, what kind? I've found that it could be a variety of Alternanthera dentata. It has smaller leaves than the 2"-3" I've found in descriptions of A. dentata. The flowers are almost identical as well as the growth pattern and appearance. May just be a dwarf variety. Does anyone know? Thanks for any help.
