Id this conspicuum

    I bought this acer conspicuum for a reduced price due to uncertain labeling.The nursery had bought a number of "silver vein" ,but they didn´t think this was one of them.I´m thinking it is..please help me id it.

    You maybe right ,please explaine why,.silver vein looks very similar.

    Silver Vein has more distinct markings on older bark, but also more of a 3 lobed leaf, closer to rufinerve but roundish like davidii.

    i have SIlver vein and the leaves are big than your, for the bark color and form of leaves for me is davidii;of course i write, many miles to you maple...conspicuum not exist in the wild, is hybrid garden, and Silver vein is one cultivar .. possible to revert ..

    Does the fact that my plant is young make a difference in leaf size?
