Identification: ID this cactus

    A species of Euphorbia (a succulent, but not a cactus).

    Wouldn't stop looking quite yet. You don't have an ID yet.

    Its definitely not Euphorbia tortilis (E. antiquorum fa. spirale hort.) as shown in Lila's link. The stems of your plant don't appear to be spiralled. The name on the link isn't a valid one. Not all the pix on the link are even of the same plant. One is even crested.

    Your plant may be E. antiquorum or E. lactea but one cannot tell from a back-lit photo.
