Even though the heart-shaped leaves aren't visible -- this LOOKs like a European version of frogbit -- I know its native range includes Asia, and I believe it is one of those plants that, given the chance, will cover shallow ponds, marshes, etc. It is viewed here as a noxious weed. Hydrocharis morsus-ranae. Of course, I could be wrong. It has distinct leaves, which I can't see here.
It could be Stratiotes aloides, because the plant seems, kind of, ready to sink for the coming winter. But I am still not sure. Some more help would be welcome.
Sorry... this "Stratiotes tip" was an amazing stupid tip from me... :((( But now I have a better tip, if you are still interested: OTTELIA sp.!!! Hm? :)
Thanks for responding again:) Sure I am still interested in finding the proper ID :( Help would we very welcome.
