ID please: What kind of Wild Rose?

    Location:
    SW. Ontario, formerly North Okanagan (formerly NB)
    Finally blooming, but not the five-petaled "Rosa Canina" that we were expecting!
    Blooms currently are about 30-40 mm in diameter.

    Can anyone identify this type?

    Rosa pimpinellifolia 'Plena' or other double form of that species.
