Identification: ID please, of fungi

    Hello, this photo was taken in Pacific Spirit Park, October 2008. It was unsheltered and alone. About 4 inches tall. I have searched but can't locate the identity of this one. The "dangling" white things on the cap intrigue me. Thank you.

    Stropharia ambigua "Questionable stropharia".

    Yes. Stropharia ambigua. Usually solitary, but sometimes in clusters.
