Numerous small plants per attached photos were found today within ca. 50 vertical metres (ca 1250 - 1300m ASL) of the summit of Mount Porter, Vancouver Island. The plants do not well match Claytonia lanceolata description - no opposite stem leaves - fl. stems originating at the base. Nearest match found in E-flora is C. tuberosa but geographic region is highly suspect - opinions please ?
Claytonia multiscapa subsp. pacifica , I think. See: https://www.dnr.wa.gov/publications/amp_nh_clmupx.pdf This was within the core of its Vancouver Island range.
