    Hi!
I have tried to identify this strange Bromeliad like houseplant using my own books and going online without success.
The stems and leaves are smooth, soft to the touch and succulent like, not at all hard like the Bromeliads that I have or have encountered. It's just the fact that it has Bromeliad style stems that made me think of this as belonging to that family of plants.
I have included a couple of photos of the plant.
What kind of plant is this?
What sort of care does it need? I have been letting it dry out slightly between waterings and it has survived well, indoors, this winter.
My house is in the middle of a climax oak and hickory cove forest (North Georgia) so it's fairly dark shade. My guess is this plant requires filtered sunlight or partial shade by the way it looks and it had reacted to being hung in the woods late last summer. What do you think?
Thank you so much for your attention to this.- Charlotte

Oh... I forgot to mention that the second photo is of one of it's apparent baby plants. It has all of these stems coming out of it such as one sees in spider house plants and at the end of some of them are these little, minature of the parent, plants. Thanks! -Charlotte
