saw this at my bank, photo taken April 21. Elderly Mother would like to get one, but we don't know what it is. Thanks in advance for any help
Welcome to UBC forums Sandie. It is Berberis sp....previously known as Mahonia sp. It has long arching yellow flowers . Your pic shows the berries. mahonia japonica - Google Search
Mahonia × media 'Charity'. It had yellow flowers; the "grapes" will be purple and can be used sort of like lemon juice.
Thank you both for your quick replies. I will research this and hopefully pick one up for my Mom. A friend steered me to this forum and I will check it out more over the weekend. Thank you
