Can anyone assist with ID of this low-growing plant with green berries? It is in full sun by the side of a dirt track, altitude about 700 feet, north side of island of Tortola. I could get more information if needed. Thank you!

I'm not familiar with this one, but would definitely look into Solanaceae family. Despite the aged look to some of the stems, it's herbaceous. The variation in size of the fruits suggest that it has been blooming throughout the summer and will probably continue to do so until the days shorten a bit more. The flowers might help with a closer ID.
