I would like to know what this plant is...

    I found it in Colorado... I tried to find what it was by myself. At first I thought it was some kind of nightshade, but it didn't look at all like them...=) The dark-colored berries have a pit inside of them, and have no smell. It grows on a small shrub/tree...

    I'd agree with Prunus virginiana. Note it usually has red cherries in eastern North America, and black cherries in western NA.
