Hello. I live in southern California and I have an orange tree in my backyard. I recently noticed that the tree might be sick. The leaves on a part of the tree are beginning to die. The leaves look like they have been being eaten by caterpillars. But I'm pretty sure it's not caterpillars because the leaves are dying. It also seems that whatever is killing the leaves is beginning to spread to the oranges. I also noticed that it is localized to a part of the tree, not around the whole thing. If you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to know what this is and if there is any possible way to get rid of it. Any other options to help my poor tree will be greatly appreciated. =]
You give very little information upon which to make a diagnosis. However, what little information you do supply, I suspect some sort of insect infestation, because of the localized nature, and the fact that the problem has spread to another tree. - Millet
