Identification: I received this plant as a gift...

    And I am not sure what it is...

    For over 2 years I have been guessing at the care. I have been successful since it has grown well beyond the mistreated little growth it was when it was given to me. I have also successfully rooted a clipping from it. So now that I have two, I thought it might be time to find out what it is...

    Well, I have tried my best. I didn't really so much get it as a gift as a friend was doing poorly with it and asked me to revive it to health. It's about 35cm now and it started at a meagre 10. It really wasn't well looked after. It's not the kind of plant I usually grow, but as it seems, these plants are very good at telling you if they are doing well or not. So that helped.

    You have definitely done a great job! Enough light will help keep the leaves nice and colorful!
