    Hi!

    I inherited a few new plants and it’s driving me crazy not know their names or truly what they are!

    Hope someone can help identify these!

    Thanks,

    Katie

    Looks like:
    1. Epipremnum aureum, Pothos;
    2. Kalanchoe blossfeldiana.

    1. Not pothos. Those arrow-shaped leaves look more like Syngonium podophyllum, arrowhead.

    These look cute in those jars, but it's a really bad idea to keep them in the jars. For one thing, it's better to have your plants in pots that have good drainage holes in the bottom - less chance of overwatering them. And with the smaller necks on the jars, it will be impossible to get the plants out if you want to repot them into a larger pot.

    So, I thought it was the “flaming Katy” also but it doesn’t bloom! There is no flower. It’s just green and leafy. Ive had it for 2 years.

    Yes! I think you are right that it’s a type of Arrow head plant or ivy. Thank you!!!

    I add a layer of rocks at the bottom of each jar so there is room for drainage and no roots are sitting in water :)

    I didn't think kalanchoe plants from the garden centres ever bloomed again, but it seems there are articles on how to get them to do that. Here is one:
    Kalanchoe Flowering: How To Make A Kalanchoe Rebloom
    If you query "do kalanchoe blossfeldiana rebloom", you'll find a lot of articles.
