PLEASE! This vine can't possibly be this hard to name. 12 to 14 little irregular purple flowers...in bunches. Small oval leaves that alternate running up the vine...there are tendrils so it can climb. Not too long but im not sure exactly...I wishI had a pic. oh! the seed pods are like small pea pods with round brown or black seeds in them. Thanks :)
vinca doesn't bloom at this time and the flowers are singular, nor does it produce pods. we really need a pic to be able to give an id.
tipularia meant vicia, not vinca. But description of the leaves doesn't fit those of vicia species. Description of the flowers and seed pods seem to fit though. I agree, some pictures would be helpful.
I said Vicia, and I thought they might think the leaflets were individual leaves even though they wouldn't be alternate..
