I need a lawn and it's nearly December!

  1. It's November 21... It's taken far too long for my family's new residence to get renovated. My inspector wants the landscaping done before he signs the 'final inspection' as passed. I've worked like a dog spreading the lawn-soil base, but I fear the next stage will be a waste of time. I'm not confident that Sod (my preference) will survive an installation so near December. Sure, I live in Vancouver, but is our Winter mild enough? Or, should I just seed it and hope for the best? Please give me your opionion and/or suggestions. Thanks for your time and response in advance.

Probably other way around: late for seed, so you would use sod.
