I have a question. My maple was absolutely beautiful. Then when it got warmer the leaves startred to shrivel. They feel kinda dry, but they do not crumble away. i didnt water it for two day cause i was out of town and we just thinned out some of the trees to get more sunlight.. Does anyone know what is going on.. Iwatered it yesterday and the again today. I am hopeing that it just got thirsty and if I water it again tomorrow that it will perk back up again..

There will be no "perking up", I'm afraid. Once a JM's leaves have shriveled thats it - no coming back. The best thing to do is pull off all the shriveled leaves (gently) and let the plant sprout new ones. It has one (and only ONE) extra set of buds. This means you cannot let it get stressed again or it will be completely dead.

Continue to water regularly. If you remove the leaves and new ones don't sprout, then the tree is a gonner.
