Hi! Well I didn't find it, my husband Mark brought it home yesterday, Friday. When he first showed it to me it looked like and egg shaped mushroom with some stringy roots coming out at one end. He planted it in some cactus soil, that I had, about 4pm. I noticed that it looked as though it were bleeding red blood. About 2 am I got up to get a drink and it had shifted shape upward in the pot. I thought maybe someone had squeezed it.
This morning we got up to find what you see pictured in the attached photos. And it now resides outside because it smells like carion.
So who wants to tell me what is is that my husband has brought home to me? haha

Thank you so very much. I looked for 3 hours online yesterday, I did find the Stinkhorn
species, but I used honeycombed, instead of lattice.

    Thanks again!!
