I don't think these purple flowers are Passion Flowers

    My friend thinks they are, but I'm skeptical. The petals and most everything going on in the center of the flowers doesn't match up for me, and the leaves aren't really aligned with what I've seen so far. Anyone know what they are?

    They are Clematis hybrids.

    definitely clematis. and an absolutely LOVELY shade of purple, too!!!
