I don't know what this is.

My friend has this growing in his yard. He want to know what it is. Is it something from Mars? Anyway, can you help us to identify?

How interesting.
I always thought this was a woodland plant.
Did not expect to see it so close to a building.

Fascinating plant. Wish we could grow it.
