Hello, I am new here. I have inherited a bunch of houseplants recently and I have identified most of them, however, I am having trouble finding this one. I don't know if I am killing it or if it is supposed to look like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated IMG_1519.JPG

They can be finicky. Check to see if the soil is saturated(saucer under the pot?)
Has the soil shrunk due to decomposition allowing all the water to run out of
the pot? Add a bark based soil to allow water retention and adequate aeration.

I just transplanted it to a pot today. It has been in an arrangement with other flowers since December. I have been seriously overwatering it. Now that I know what it is, I will be more careful. Thanks again!

You'll want to keep your spath in bright indirect light. Also, Keep the soil on the moist side at all times, not soggy wet.
