Clueless, here, and would appreciate an I.D.

    Thanks!

    Best,

One of the more grotesque double-flowered Tulipa cultivars.

    Could it be a hellebore?

Do leaves visible in photo belong to this flower?

Unfortunately, I don't remember much about the flower, and it's long gone. Here's another image, and it's likely that the leaves visible here (though very blurred) do belong to this flower. I think the leaves in the other photo are from an adjacent flower, not this one.

The petals are oddly tulip-like, but I can't recall what the rest of the plant looked like.

Didn't see Michael's response. I see that apparently it is some strange form of tulip!

Is it? The leaves in photo look nothing like tulip leaves with which I am familiar.

They don't look like tulip leaves I've seen, either, though it's possible that these also don't belong to this flower. Michael, are you sure of this I.D.?

    Thanks,
    David

Definitely a tulip, might be 'Peach Blossom'.

Most of the leaves are a different plant, but the tulip leaves are just visible too.

Thanks for your help. From what I now see on the 'net, Peach Blossom looks right. Sorry about the leaves confusion.
