Identification: I am trying to identify this tree

    Hi, I am trying to identify this tree. It was given to me as a gift and doing really well. I would just like to know the name of it.

    Looks like Polyscias fruticosa, Ming Aralia.

    I looked it up and I think you are right, sure looks like it. I love this plant, it is very cool looking.

    Thanks for your help, I received this plant in March of this year and had no idea how to take care of it, but it is doing great. It has grown about 4 inches.

    I would like to try to start another plant from this one. Does anybody know how to do that with this plant?

    You have a few choices to pick from. It can be propagated from root or stem cuttings, from suckers near the bottom, or base of the plant, or air layering...

    If i do a stem cutting, should i cut at the node of a piece that is branching out or cut off the whole stem? should i put it in water or soil?
