Hello everyone, hope your all having a wonderful day.

The question I have is about my hydrangea. I have had it about 3yrs now and every year it gets these brown spots on the leaves. I do not see any bugs on them. The plant gets plenty of water and gets the afternoon sun. It is growing very good and seems to love where it is at. I just hate the way the brown spots look and I know they shouldn't be there. Any info would sure be helpful. Thank you all.

It might be some disease or it could also develop from when afternoon/hot sun hits wet foliage. Try and water early in the morning to prevent this and make sure they have good air circulation.

Here is a good link I would check out on different diseases.

I am sure others will have thoughts as well.

when I do water, I never water the leaves, only the soil around the plant itself. I do water usually in afternoon or evening though. Thank you for all input and I will check out those sites.

I found exactly what I needed on this site! I need to get Fungicide for Cercospora Leaf Spot. Certainly need to water in mornings. Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.

Thank you...checked out your article also. It was not a scorched leaf though. Your input was much appreciated...keep it coming!
