First let me say, oops, sorry about the misspelling in the subject line. I guess there is not way to edit subject lines. Anyway, I love hoyas. I especially love H. Lacunosa. I recently moved to a new state, and my lacunosa did do well with the trip. My once beautiful, blooming beauty is a scraggly 4" mess now. I bought a cutting online and was very excited. When it arrived, it was a blooming size, scraggly mess. I have come to the conclusion that they just don't travel well. So, when I walked into Lowe's yesterday and saw a full, beautiful, blooming Lacunosa Snow Cap I bought it. Instant love. When I got it home I noticed that the flowers did not have a scent. The thing I love most about Lacunosa is the scent. I tried smelling the flowers at different times of the day - nothing. So, today I stopped at another Lowe's and they do have a Lacunosa snow cap. It's blooming and it smells heavenly. But, it's not as full, long and lush as the one I purchased. What to do? Should I return mine to buy the scented one? I am wondering if anyone has experienced a snow cap that has no scent. I am wondering if it will eventually come around and smell wonderful. Any comments appreciated. Thanks!
