I would like to use moss as centre pieces on tables at my wedding next year, with dried flowers sprinkled through it. I do not know how to best go about getting and using the moss. If I dry it, will it all crumble? If not, how long would it need to dry? Should I grow it myself and if yes, is there a way to ensure bug free moss on wedding tables!? I would love some suggestions!

Cool idea. You could grow it yourself...but unless you have optimum conditions I dunno if you'd get the necessary quantity in the time allowed. If you have a friend or neighbor who has vast quantities of the stuff growing on a roof or walkway, you could harvest some...but yeah, you just might have a bug problem...and more than likely a crumbling one, too.

You might take a look online---try googling "sheet moss". Here's one site I found:

Bug-free and you can get as much, or as little, as you need.

Congratulations to you and your spouse-to-be!---and welcome to the Forum. You'll have to post some photos of the moss decorations, and yourselves as well!
