Anyone know of any specific techniques to start, and care for a Silver fern Cyathea dealbata in Victoria BC
If you don't have experience with growing ferns from spores, access to spores of this species buy an existing, developed plant in a pot and expect to be overwintering it under cover.
It will take a while for the spores to produce plants. You could buy a large tree fern at thimblefarms.com, the tree ferns are under "ferns".
