Does anyone have proven success in removing calla lilies from the garden. We just re did our irrigation and new planting and calla lilies are every where. Thanks in advance. B- Oakland, California
If not able to dig out ask at garden center for suitable herbicide. Spray must be kept off of non-target plants.
This is a huge problem with wild areas of Australia where Calla lilies have spread along waterways, so I would expect Australian government horticultural sites or Aussie forum users would have good suggestions on the most successful and environmentally acceptable methods of getting rid of them.
