My garden came with the wonderful Blue Spruce that lie along the ground level.

This is now eight years later and for the last two years, ever since my new sprinkler system began to water them regularly, they are growing upward and will soon be huge trees if all goes as anticipated.

I am just now trying to suggest to my gardener what to do about these and really need some intelegent information about just how to settle them down - or try to get them to grow flat. Three of these in a small area will just be overpowering soon. Could a suggestion be forthcoming from someone who has been here before?
    Thank you. Tess Steele

Cut off the erect shoots at the level where the flat part starts.
