How To Make Cedar Oils

    Hi does anybody have information on how to extract oil from western red cedar or balsam boughs? I beleive you need to steam them out like a vegetable steamer just curious if there are many chemicals or precautions on this process. Much appreciated.

    Not sure about the extraction process, but note that you won't get cedar oil out of either of those two, since they aren't cedars Cedrus.
