Hello, I am currently doing my senior geography project. In my project I need to be able to identify these three species with my own eyes out in the rainforest:

    Maiden's Wattle (Acacia Maidenii)
    Brittlewood (Claoxylon australe)
    Peppertree Wattle (Acacia schinoides)

So could someone help me out in how to identify these three plants? I have searched the internet and not fouind much information, so hopefully someone can help me out, cheers!

    Hello mardybum,

I believe you may need to resort to those old-fashioned things called BOOKS!

Assuming you have decent library not too far away, look for these titles:

Tame, T: Acacias of Southeast Australia

Williams JB, Harden GJ & McDonald WJF: Trees and Shrubs in Rainforests of New South Wales and Southern Queensland
