Will Canna plants survive and regrow if they are cut down by frost?

And how low will the temperature have to be to kill them off?

    Best regards,

Depends on the amount of leaves or other protective insulator material covering the roots. However, if the roots freeze the plant is dead. - Millet

    Thanks Millet,

I have them in the greenhouse at the moment with an oil lamp underneath to keep the roots from freezing!

I think/hope it will only be for one night as the weather here will be on the up as from Thursday night,m..........So the BBC weather forecast has it!

    Bestest regards,

    Ken.
