It took 3 years from my pampas grass to bloom. It is now a large, healthy plant and last year produced 4 fronds. This season there are 2 (just started blooming). But I see other plants in our area that are the same size with dozens of fronds on them. Why do I get 2 or 3? Should I be fertilizing? With what?
