hi guys have two pots of cyclamens at home. when i first bought them, their blooms are so big and beautiful. i've bought them from kmart and when i brought them home they started going dormant coz the wheather is not cold enough compared to the air conditioned environement at kmart. but winter soon arrived shortly after their dormancy and now they are shooting leaves and buds. the problem is that these flowers seem to be really smal compare to when i first got them. i suspect it's because they didnt get a long enough resting period but i'm not sure. what can i do to get bigger blooms on them.....? thanks for the help Billy
It might just be that the big blooms were from the nursery they came from before they got to Kmart - a lot of nurseries have very specialised conditions that are tailored to the plant species they grow and you can't produce quite such 'perfect' conditions at home. Also are you fertilising? I'm pretty sure most flowering plants should be fertilised once every week or two. That could also be why the flowers aren't as big.
