    Hello fellow horticulturists! :)

I'm new here, I have just bought 50 Canadian redwood seeds (Sequoia sempervirens), and I wondered if anyone here has experience of raising these trees from seed?

I am planning to plant as many redwoods as I can raise, in appropriate locations, but I need some advice as I've never planted a tree before, let alone a redwood! What time of year is best for planting the seed? Should I plant straight in the ground, or keep the seedlings indoors for a year? Should I soak the seed in water before planting? Any answers or comments greatly appreciated.

I would check with these people before planting your seed as they can tell you if your efforts will prove successful or not.
    Cheers.
