Hi everyone. I have a houseplant that I am trying to bring "back to life". The plant was left with me when some friends moved, so I really don't know anything about it. I'd love to know what it is so that I can help it along! Anyone know what it might be?

Unfortunately, my camera won't take any decent close-up shots.

    Thanks in advance!
    Kim

Hmm. Could it be a Pilea?

I'll try to match some online Pilea pictures to my plant. Thanks for the suggestion, Togata. I'll let you know what I find.

Some of those leaves look as though they have that off-center attachment to the petiole---makes me think Begonia. ??? I hope that we get this plant identified soon: I gotta get some sleep!

Which ever plant, yours looks pretty leggy. You should pinch off a couple of ends, maybe 2 inches of stem, put them in water or potting soil to reroot, and see how they do. Your plant looks pretty leggy and this would help to revitalize the plant. barb
