Identification: Houseplant Identification: Broad, Pale green leaves, stalky plant

I love houseplants and trying to revive those which are struggling. I took this one from home and brought it to school with me to try and make it healthy again. It has been through times of overwatering (soaking wet) and times of drying completely out. I have no idea what it is and am hoping someone can identify it. It has one stalk right now (used to have 3). The leaves are a very pale green with a white border and are somewhat broad. See pictures below.

i opt for peperomia obtusifolia. needs a bit more light.
