Identification: Houseplant id

    Does anyone know what this is? It looks similar to Beaucarnea recurvata (Ponytail palm) but the base does not flare into a bulb. Third picture shows the thin base all the way into the soil.

    The higher branch is about 10 feet tall - getting too tall. I'd like to cut it near the base if it will grow back but I don't want to kill it!

    Looks like Dracaena marginata, Madagascar Dragon Tree.

    Thank you, thank you! I just read up on it, going to get some root stimulator and take a few cuttings.
