Anyone growing hops (Humulus lupulus) in their garden? I planted five from rooted cuttings today and was wondering if they will grow healthy enough to survive the winter?

Are Hops winter hardy in Pittsburg? What zone are you in? I was thinking of growing Hops but didn't think they would survive the winter.I'm in zone 5.

zone 6. As I understand it hops are very harder and come back every year. I think you can pretty much grow them anywhere in the states as long as you get a good first season in. I bought my rhizomes from northern brewer which is based out of St. Paul MN.
