This is my mother's houseplant and I think it is absolutely beautiful. I just got my own apartment, and I was hoping to cut off a piece and replant it. However, she has no idea what is it, or how to do that. I suppose once I have the name of it, I could just google instructions for replanting parts of it, and for general care. I'd love to know if it needs to be on a window, or if it's ok being towards the center of the room where there isn't much light. Anything you can offer would be helpful. Thank you! And a close up:
