    Hello,

Though no plant expert, I rescued this orphan (Please see the attached photo) from a hallway and after saving it from drowning and burning it's leaves in the sun, and over feeding it, it has rewarded me by sending out a "flower"? Can anyone tell me what this plant is so I can care for it more responsibly? Thank you!

I recommend to you the outstanding site---The Exotic Rainforest---created by the late, great Steve Lucas. Just gorgeous, and scholarly too.

Here is the page for Alocasia Amazonica:

Congrats on the inflorescence! I believe that your plant is saying 'Thank You' in Aroidese.
