can anybody help,if the attached pictures are of Holy basil or not? I purchased the packet with holy basil name on it. It had black seeds. Now I am having some doubt. Please help. Thanks nitgrg
It reminds me of one I bought once with the label Ocimum kilimandscharicum (can't remember the common name), that grew like a weed for me and self-seeded all over the place. It was harsh-flavoured and to my thinking useless as a herb. It's not lemon balm is it???? if it is I would not let it seed. 20 yrs ago started with one plant and it is everywhere including my paddocks. Put lemon balm in google images and see what you think Liz
It may be too soon to tell. Here is a botanical description and some help with the terminology. From here it seems to fit the description, but I can not take any measurements.
