I live by an ocean inlet and recently had a new bulkhead installed. The Junipers are over 18 years old, over 10 ft tall. The bulkhead construction was extensive and the trees were in brackish water for over a 2 months, and some branches could not be saved. The trees, all three have shed more needles than I have ever witnessed. Is there a teatment that would help them recover? Would pruning help? I hate to lose these heretofor beautiful trees.
They've already been damaged. If they come through it, it will be due to any ingrained tolerance there may be.
