   I am growing some hollyhocks from seed ,in pots. They have grown to be about two feet tall this year. For the winter should i plant them in the graden or keep them in pots , in a heated green house for the winter ?

   Yes, plant them in the garden. Hollyhocks are very hardy perennials.
